I work personally with men who appreciate craftsmanship, character and exceptional quality—but would rather have someone they trust handle the hunt.

Denim is my specialty.

When the hunt calls for more, I can source complementary apparel, leather goods, accessories, boots and footwear from makers and brands I believe are worth owning.

Anyone can shop.

I hunt.

I search beyond the obvious—independent makers, heritage brands, Japanese denim houses, private sources and relationships I've built along the way.

I'm looking for craftsmanship. Exceptional fabrics. Proper construction. Great fit. And pieces with character.

Sometimes that's a pair of Japanese selvedge jeans.

Sometimes it's a heavyweight flannel, handmade leather belt, exceptional jacket or pair of boots.

The category can change.

The standard doesn't.

DENIM IS WHERE IT STARTS

For me, denim is where it starts. But the story began long before Dino’s Garage.

Growing up in Brooklyn, I spent time helping my grandmother in her bridal shop, where she made wedding dresses by hand. I watched her work with fabric, measurements, fit and detail—creating something personal for one individual.

I didn't realize it at the time, but those lessons stayed with me.

Years later, I found myself drawn back to those same qualities through denim: the fabric, the construction, the craftsmanship, the fit, and the character a great pair develops over time.

Today, heritage denim is my specialty and the foundation of Dino’s Garage. I study the details—fabric weight, weave, selvedge, rise, construction, mills, makers, fading characteristics and provenance—because when someone invests in an exceptional pair of jeans, those details matter.

But my clients don't need to become denim experts.

That's my job.

My job is to understand the details, learn how you want your clothes to fit and feel, and hunt for pieces that belong in your wardrobe.

My grandmother did it with wedding dresses.

I do it with denim.

Maybe history has a way of bringing us back to where we started.

Great fit starts with knowing the person—not just the size on the label.

 

Every Dino’s Garage relationship begins with a private conversation.

I take the time to understand how you live, what you wear, what you already own, what you’re missing, and how you want your clothing to feel.

From there, I create your Private Fit Profile—a personal record of your measurements, preferred fits, favorite brands, fabrics, denim weights, washes, colors, footwear preferences and the details that make something right for you.

Because a size 34 isn't always a size 34.

Two pairs of jeans carrying the same size can fit completely differently depending on the maker, rise, cut, fabric and construction. That's where my knowledge becomes your advantage.

Your profile allows me to evaluate pieces before I ever present them to you.

As we work together, your profile becomes more refined. I learn what works. What doesn't. What you reach for. And what deserves a place in your wardrobe.

So the next time you tell me:

“Dino, I need a new pair of jeans.”
